NEW Rotodisc Dryer, Model IS125.   Stainless Steel.  125 square meters (1345 sqft) of heat transfer surface in an indirect dryer of continuous operation, designed to work with materials, as much of easy circulation as with those of difficult drying.  All the surfaces of the equipment in contact with the raw material, are of stainless steel AISI - 304 the basic characteristics of this Dryer is the design of the rotor.  This rotor consists of a tubular structural steel axis, with a number of mounted discs of double wall vertically, the union weld is 100% automatic by means of process of arc submerged.  This design makes possible that until 85% of the total surface of interchange it is made in the rotor which besides to assure a compact unit, makes more favorable for the drying process.  The rest of the interchange surface this located in the body of double wall (jacket and helmet), of horizontal cylindrical type and.  The discs of hollow manufacture have a smooth surface of thermal interchange.  In order to assure the cleaning the surfaces the Dryer takes built-in scrapers, placed between the discs, that they prevent that the product turns with them.  Each disc takes special agitating trowels.  During the operation, the action combined of scrapers and the agitating trowels, maintain the product in movement while it is transferred axially through Dryer.  It incorporates a system for steam feeding and unloading of the condensed one of each disc.  An efficient ventilation assures the maximum use the interchange surfaces.  The Rotodisc Dryer takes folding covers for the access of the interior of the equipment and with windows for inspection of the process.  The Material of manufacture is stainless steel AISI 304.  The normal pressure of work is of 90 Psig.  The Dryer is driven with a motor of 90 KW and reducer of speed.  Isolation is considered where it is required by means of glass wool of 2' ' of thickness with stainless steel cover of 1/32 ' '.  As it leaves from his components we have the lines entrance of steam and condensed exit of formed by means of pipes and steel accessories SCH 40, as well as valves of ball for flow control, valves of floodgate on - off, steam filters, viewfinders, traps, air purges, breakers of emptiness, pressure gauges, rotating meetings, reducing valve of pressure.
